ere, I engraved each grass one by one.
This is very troublesome part for engraving. And I can't say it as a successful expression.

By watercolor, I can express it naturally, for I can choice the better expression by comparing with objects in the field.

Durer has a same problem in his early works, but he had solved it by clever way for his Saint Eustace. He dealed it with highlight part and shadowing framed the high light in it. It is good, soften and briliant.
To express by line is the fate of engraving. The problem is the shadowing. I don't want to use cross hatching for shadowing. It is too easy way, often it deprives the brightness and gives the dull impression common with bad and mediocretive work.
I need more experience about this.
